Structural composition:

• Drum body:

It is the core component of the dryer, usually made of metal material, with good sealing and heat resistance, and can withstand the high temperature and weight of the material during the drying process.

• Wheel device:

Located at both ends of the cylinder, it is used to support the cylinder and enable it to rotate stably in the horizontal direction. There are generally four rollers, evenly distributed on both sides of the cylinder to ensure the smooth rotation of the cylinder.

• Transmission device:

It includes components such as motor, reducer, coupling, etc., which provide power for the rotation of the cylinder. The motor transmits power to the coupling through the reducer, and the coupling is connected to the wheel belt of the cylinder to drive the cylinder to rotate.

• Feeding device:

 It is responsible for conveying the rock wool material to be dried into the cylinder. The feeding device needs to ensure that the material can enter the dryer evenly and stably to ensure the consistency of the drying effect.

• Discharging device:

After the drying is completed, the dried rock wool material is discharged from the dryer. The discharging device usually has a certain degree of sealing to prevent hot air leakage and dust overflow.

• Heat source device:

provides heat for the drying process. Common heat sources include coal, natural gas, fuel oil, biomass particles, etc. The heat source device is connected to the inside of the cylinder through a pipeline, and the hot air flow is transported to the dryer for heat exchange with the rock wool material.

• Dust removal device:

Since rock wool will generate a certain amount of dust during the drying process, the dust removal device is used to collect and treat the dust to reduce environmental pollution. The dust removal device is usually connected to the discharge end of the dryer through a pipeline, and the dust-containing gas is sucked into the dust removal equipment for purification.

• Working principle:

The rock wool single-drum dryer is a rotary dryer. After the wet rock wool material enters the cylinder from the feeding device, the material is constantly turned and lifted as the cylinder rotates. At the same time, the hot air flow generated by the heat source device enters the cylinder and fully contacts the rock wool material, causing the moisture in the material to gradually evaporate. The evaporated water vapor is discharged from the discharge end along with the hot air flow, and the dried rock wool material is discharged from the discharge device, completing the entire drying process.
