Structural composition:

• Casing:

As the main supporting structure of the equipment, it plays a role in protecting the internal components. It is generally made of strong materials such as steel to ensure good sealing and prevent powder leakage.

• Feeding device:

It is used to transport the material to be classified into the powder classifier. It is usually designed to allow the material to enter evenly to ensure the stability of subsequent classification.

• Rotor:

It is the core component, on which blades or fins of special shapes are installed. The high-speed rotation of the rotor generates centrifugal force and vortex, so that the material can be classified in it.

• Drive device:

 It provides power to the rotor to rotate at a specific speed. It is usually composed of a motor, a reducer, a coupling, etc.

• Air outlet:

It discharges the airflow carrying fine powder so that the fine powder can be collected later.

• Coarse powder outlet:

It is used to discharge coarse powder that does not meet the fineness requirements after classification.

• Working principle:

After the material enters the powder classifier from the feeding device, it falls under the action of gravity. At the same time, the air or gas from the outside enters the powder classifier. The rotor rotates at high speed driven by the driving device, generating a strong vortex. The material is dispersed under the action of the vortex. Due to its small mass, the fine powder can follow the airflow through the gap inside the rotor or a specific channel and be discharged from the air outlet; while the coarse powder is subjected to a large centrifugal force due to its large mass, and cannot pass through the relevant channels, and is finally discharged from the coarse powder outlet, thereby achieving material classification.
