Drying system:
• Heat source device:
Provides the heat required for drying. Common heat sources include natural gas, coal, biomass particles, electric heating, etc. Its function is to generate high-temperature hot air flow to provide energy for the evaporation of water in the plate sand.
• Drying chamber (cylinder):
It is the main space for drying plate sand. It is usually a cylindrical or square structure made of metal material. It has good sealing and heat resistance and can withstand high temperature and pressure during the drying process. A lifting plate or stirring device is generally set in the drying chamber to make the plate sand constantly turn over during the drying process to increase the contact area with the hot air flow and improve the drying efficiency.
Dust removal system:
• Filter device:
such as the filter bag in the bag filter, the electrode in the electrostatic precipitator, etc., used to filter and capture the dust generated during the drying process. The filter bag is usually made of high-temperature and corrosion-resistant fiber material, which can effectively block dust particles; the electrode adsorbs the dust on the electrode through the principle of electrostatic adsorption.
• Dust removal device:
including mechanical vibration device, pulse jet device, etc., which are used to regularly clean the dust accumulated on the filter device and maintain the filtering performance of the filter device. When the dust on the filter device accumulates to a certain extent, the dust removal device will start to remove the dust from the filter device and drop it into the ash hopper.
• Induced draft device:
composed of a fan and a ventilation duct, it is responsible for sucking the dust-containing gas generated during the drying process into the dust removal system, and discharging the purified gas from the equipment, maintaining the air flow circulation inside the drying and dust removal equipment, and ensuring that the dust can be effectively collected and processed.
• Conveying system:
used to transport the plate sand to be dried into the drying room and transport it out of the equipment after drying. Common conveying systems include belt conveyors, screw conveyors, bucket elevators, etc., and the appropriate conveying method is selected according to the characteristics of the plate sand and production requirements.
• Control system:
using automatic control technology to monitor and control parameters such as drying temperature, drying time, wind speed of the induced draft fan, and dust removal cycle in real time to ensure the stable operation of the equipment and the drying and dust removal effect. The control system is generally composed of sensors, controllers, actuators, etc. The operator can operate and monitor the equipment through the control panel or computer software.
• Working principle:
First, the wet sheet sand is transported to the drying room through the conveying system. The hot air flow generated by the heat source device enters the drying room and fully contacts the sheet sand, so that the moisture in the sheet sand is evaporated by heat. The evaporated water vapor and the hot air flow carrying dust enter the dust removal system under the action of the induced draft device. In the dust removal system, when the dust-containing gas passes through the filter device, the dust is intercepted, and the purified gas is discharged from the equipment. Start the dust cleaning device regularly to remove the dust accumulated on the filter device to ensure the normal operation of the dust removal system.
